What Inspires Your Work?

Nature, friendship, fashion & travel.

What Are Your Favorite Mediums And Tools To Use?

I use gouache acryla paint by Holbein. I love Acryla for its vibrancy! I also often use a mixture of colouring pencils and pens to add more detail and texture to my work.

What Is One Word You Would Use To Describe Your Studio Space?

Fun!

What Is Your Favorite Thing About Your Studio Space?

I just love being surrounded by plants so it makes me very happy that I have lots of them in my studio!

What Are Three Items In Your Workspace That You Can’t Live Without?

My laptop, paints and a constant supply of snacks!

What Does A Day In The Life Look Like For You? What Are Your Daily Habits?

I don’t have a particular routine, it really depends on what I have to work on. The most important thing to me is to make time to get out and about whether it’s a gallery visit or a walk to my local park or garden centre. I also like to listen to podcasts and drink (a lot!) of tea throughout my workday.

How Do You Practice Self-Care Throughout The Day?

My main self-care is going for a run or yoga class. As I work from home it can be easy to be stuck inside especially when there is a deadline looming. Taking an hour out to exercise and get some fresh air is really important and totally resets my way of thinking.

How Do You Store Your Artwork?

I have a big IKEA plan chest next to my desk which is filled with my paintings. I actually think I’m going to have to get a new one soon because the current one is overflowing!
