15 Fall Sketchbook Prompts for Artists

Autumn is upon us. The first day of Fall is this Saturday, in fact - September 23rd. My brain has already been in Fall mode for weeks now, mainly because I love this time of year so much. And it’s never long enough.

Fall is my favorite season for several reasons. First, I can’t get enough of the crisp air, the changing leaves, pumpkin spice, and cozy sweaters. Second, Fall brings a special energy to my art. It’s the season where I’m most creative. I can’t stop making things. I’m beyond inspired. When I look back at all the work I make every year, the most was always made in the Fall.

Because of this, I approach this time of year with great anticipation. I can’t wait to see what kind of work I’ll produce. A large portion of the work I create in Fall is actually Fall-themed. I paint my trees with changing leaves, and I love focusing on cozy subject matters.

That’s why I’ve decided to share 15 Fall sketchbook prompts with you today. I want to help you harness that Fall energy in your work. Maybe you can catch that Fall spark early too and have the most productive season ever for your art.
