My 10 Favorite Paintings from 2021

I was going through my paintings from 2021, in preparation for 2022, and I thought it’d be interesting to share my favorites.

One thing I’ve realized as an artist is that my favorites are rarely everyone else’s favorites, and I’m fine with that. Actually, I think that’s often the case. When looking at our own paintings, we’re reminded of creative breakthroughs, and moments where we felt expansion as artists. All the paintings below represent those moments for me. They are paintings I made in the midst of that coveted, pure “flow state.” They are all paintings where I pushed myself a little further, took a risk, and ended up loving the end result.

Most of these paintings can be found in my shop, if you click on each image. My question to you is - which of these are your favorite and why?

I hope you all have a very Happy New Years!
