I'm a freelance illustrator/graphic designer based out of Chicago, Illinois. I work full-time out of my home studio in the Northwest Suburbs. I’ve collaborated with a variety of corporate clients, as well as local businesses. With over seven years experience as a Graphic Designer, my expertise ranges from branding and merchandising to packaging design and illustration.

If I’m not at my computer designing, I’m usually burning the midnight oil drawing. For as long as I can remember, drawing has been my passion. I still have my old sketchbooks where I drew portraits of all my Beanie Babies. When I wasn’t drawing as a child, I loved anything that involved creating with my hands - crafting, baking, building forts, playdo. I had a wild imagination, and still do. My three younger siblings can attest.

I’ve lived all over the country, but I primarily grew up in Cary, Illinois, which is where I attended high school.

I attended college at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where I studied marketing and communications. After college, I couldn’t stomach the idea of not doing something creative for a living. Therefore, I made the decision to attend the Chicago Portfolio School for a year to study Art Direction.

After school in Chicago, I married my college sweetheart, Ryan (we met when we were 20!), and moved to Columbus, Ohio, where he was currently working. In Columbus, I landed a graphic design position at Wendy’s Corporate. I worked there for 4 years, and then left to pursue a full-time freelance career. We eventually got a dog, Rupert, and relocated to Chicago to be closer to family. And that brings our story up to date!
